Manager - Global Investment Team

 

 

Reports to: Partner – Global Investment

 

 

Based: London with global travel as required

 

 

Vision for the role

We want someone to support investment discussions for some of our key global clients. You will be expected to support the client dialogue on current media performance and landscape, as well as support in the development of future facing models as client and marketplace needs evolve. Working with our local markets, the successful candidate will also need relationship building capabilities to successfully align local, regional, and global needs.

 

 

Client Pricing Delivery and Management

 

• Able to manage the full reporting process without line manager support

• Owning statuses internally and with auditors/clients (client dependent)

• Monitor, optimise and forecast pricing delivery vs targets by working together with local investment teams. Identify potential issues as soon as they arise and escalate issues where resolutions are not possible.

• Challenge results and data with local teams to understand the reasons behind results

• Communicate results in the optimum way, tailoring your approach to the person you are speaking to

• Identify and implement improved reporting processes (internally and with local markets)

 

 

New Business Investment and Commercial Alignment

 

• Understand the commercials/contracts on all clients you manage; and be able to communicate details to local markets effectively

• Understand the pitch process and the roles and responsibilities of each team

• Take the lead on managing the global trading offer on a pitch. This would include managing the roll-up of the latest offers, keeping the status up-to-date and participating in the pitch as the main point of contact with market leads.

 

 

Team Management and Development

 

• Manage training and check-in process with junior team members

• Identify and action areas of development required within the team

 

 

• Grow and maintain reciprocal relationships with WM market teams through consistent and reliable communication and well-managed timelines.

• Maintain an understanding of wider teams on your clients and within Client Solutions to know the relevant person to speak to on specific tasks, i.e. knowing who the commercial or client lead is.

 

Required Experience and Skills

• Confident and comfortable in leading projects on reporting practices and products (external pool audits, Jackdaw®, GMP365) i.e. be able to set-up reporting for a new client.

• Complete training and direct workload to develop Excel and PowerPoint skills to an advanced level. Enabling you to complete tasks which fall outside of your day to day norms.
